Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates will soon be a part of a Netflix series. It’s not some technology show but a 3-part docu-series that will give binge-watchers an insight into how the brain of once the world’s richest man works.
Bill Gates’ Netflix series will focus on his work and life – from his early days at Microsoft to donating all his wealth to the charity. Right now, he’s the inspiration for many of us, but Gates was heavily criticized in the past for his behavior and business practices to keep Microsoft up in the game.
Gates himself announced the news via his Twitter account where he also revealed that he has been working for the series since the last few years.
Netflix has released a hair-raising trailer of the said docu-series titled “Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates.” The streaming giant says that the series is “in-depth and unfiltered” and it explores how Bill Gates solves some of the world’s most complex problems.
It starts with a voice-over asking Gates a bunch of questions, including what is his greatest fear. To which he replies that he doesn’t want his brain to stop working. Not just Gates, the series also includes the perspective of his wife Melinda Gates and his BFF Warren Buffett. Melinda is the co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Bill Gates Netflix series is scheduled for a release on September 20. It is directed by the Academy-award winner Davis Guggenheim who is also the mind behind the famous documentary “He Named Me Malala.”
Of course, it’s not the first time. The popular entrepreneur has been featured in various documentaries in the past and also the famous TV show “Pirates of Silicon Valley” which showed the lives of Gates and his rival Steve Jobs.
